Stories from Our Home & Hearts

I’ll never forget the smell of fresh baked bread at Dennis’ home. He had just made a fresh loaf when I stopped by with a gift to thank him for allowing us to assist with the purchase of his new home. We shared bread and visited as friends. I learned how he’s building a new life and teaching yoga. It was an authentic moment beyond selling a home. This is the grace that I get from serving my community.

Toby recently sent out a letter to friends about making a special trip to Herandez to get fresh green chili. He also collects and sells Native American antiquities. His wife Danielle makes one-of-a-kind couture clothing; so their home is filled with exceptional art and beauty. Danielle has helped me redesign a French folding door with Japanese silk fabrics. They also welcomed me into their home, for wine, stories, and sunsets.

Martha and Lindy have just found their sanctuary with a country setting for her, and close to Santa Fe’s center for him and elegance for both. The space for the camper and room for a little casita were bonuses. I imagine them sitting on the deep porch, laughing, and watching the sunset.

I’ve been helping Nancy and Eldon with their rental property; historic and modern. Staging each room to feel inviting and spacious, repair things that no one sees, but make the property polished and feel better. And visiting Evelyn with her new puppy Zorro; what a bundle of joy! I introduced Nancy and Evelyn; they’ve been beloved friends ever since.

Keith’s son and family are moving back to Santa Fe and Keith is their general contractor. How very special, their dad is helping them build their dream home and new life. He is also a property manager and on the board of Partners in Education with me. We share a deep love of this community.

Fabian, who designed this newsletter, is now a granny and was a caretaker for her sister.I helped her and Chuck sell their home and move to North Carolina. They still visit their beloved Santa Fe, and she still helps me embody professionalism and love in my presentations.

Our homes hold our hearts and our stories. They are where we build our lives. It’s not just 3 bedrooms, 2 baths; it’s about how we are alive each day. I’ve loved cooking for and sharing with so many friends in my home. It was a mid-century modern in its original condition, which I completely remodeled. I am finally ready to finish the outside patios and trim in a dark chocolate; to complement the windows, the blue roof, and the New Mexico landscape.

I have so many stories! These are just a few. My work is so fulfilling, helping unique people find their place on this sacred land. The market will change, like the seasons. The styles, sizes and desires change with each client and with time. Most importantly, these homes hold the people I get to care for.

Thanks for welcoming me into your home and heart and letting me advise you; it is a privilege. We are here for you.
